It's eighty years into the Hundred Years' War. The kings of England and France have both died within two months of each other, one leaving a nine-month-old son and the other having disinherited his only remaining heir. Both sides are torn by internal strife, and opportunists abound.
Can you lead your faction to the throne of France and victory? Or, at least, can you use the ongoing conflict to enrich yourself, and bring confusion to your rivals?
Henry VI Part I is a 3-hour megagame. Players will manage their armies and lands, but the core of the game is in negotiation and alliance-building.
This is a playtest - the game has not run before (although it is based on a solid existing rules system) and parts of it may break. You will be asked to provide feedback afterwards, and any insights you offer will be gratefully received.
